Closing out 2025 with Q4

Black Friday + CYBER MONDAY

LOCKING in Ecoventura’s DEAL

As we learned from pitching efforts and strategy in 2024, the earlier we start promoting Ecoventura’s Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale, the more successful our campaign can be!

Last year, DPR was able to knock this initiative out of the park, securing exposure for the promotion and the brand, everywhere from The New York Times to The Points Guy, USA Today, Forbes and more.

As a reminder, we need a minimum of 20% off to be competitive for earned media exposure.

DEADLINE: First week of October at the latest

THEMED DEPARTURES

Culinary picking up Steam

The campaign behind the culinary departures has been an ongoing project since 2024. With 2025 coming to a close, we’ve secured unprecedented media traction and attention behind them.

Ecoventura’s specialty foodie sails are set to be highlighted back-to-back in BOTH Travel + Leisure and Food & Wine Q4 issues!

We also have media interest from the requested, newly returned to print SAVEUR Magazine — whose digital editor might be joining us for the upcoming January Culinary departure!

TIMELINE: Q4 2025 / Q1 2026

Looking to the future

Trends Taking OVER

the NEW Year

Next year’s travel trend reports are still trickling in, but we’ve gotten some initial insight from early reporters, including Virtuoso, Forbes, Smart Flyer and TravelAge West!

While a few trends are new, we primarily are just seeing evolutions of those that have been consistently popular over the last couple of years. Good news is that we’ve already implemented programming that play into these and the product naturally fits into others. Some highlights include the below.

  • Purpose-Driven Travel

Trips are increasingly aligned with personal values, including environmentalism, ethical considerations, and support for local economies.

Ecoventura fits all of these categories, from our sustainability initiatives like the Avianca recycling partnership to the Plant-a-tree program and our local-food sourcing stats.

  • Nighttime Tourism

There's growing interest in activities that take place at night, such as chasing the Northern Lights, stargazing, visiting Dark Sky Reserves, and experiencing nocturnal wildlife or phenomena like bioluminescence.

We will continue to leverage the photography departures and the stargazing activity to position Ecoventura at the forefront of the persistent trend. Nothing like seeing a shooting star by night after seeing a sea star by day!

  • Boutique & Exclusive Experiences

The trend is toward private and perfected experiences, whether through boutique air operators or by experiencing big brands in a more independent or "boutique" style.

  • Transformational Travel

Travelers are seeking out journeys that lead to personal growth, self-discovery, and new perspectives.
